Original Oils

Even the most discerning and seasoned art collectors understand the distinct thrill of falling in love with and acquiring an original piece of art. Collectors of original oil paintings enjoy years of enchantment and equity building inherent in a truly distinct piece of artwork.

Commissions

Commissioned work creates a rare opportunity for collaboration between artist and collector, providing the value and authenticity of an original piece combined with the unique vision of the client. Whether in the form of a portrait, a landscape, or a special memory, a commissioned piece is certain to become a treasured investment. Due to current demands, commissions must be scheduled well in advance.

Limited Editions

Since many of Elain's original oils are sold during their debut exhibit, limited edition Giclée reproductions provide an excellent way to own a desired piece that may no longer be available as an original. The affordability of artist-approved reproductions allows admirers to acquire more pieces of a particular collection, and once each of the limited editions are sold through, they will never again be reproduced, and therefore retain excellent appreciation potential. Each limited edition piece is hand signed and numbered, and includes a certificate of authenticity.

The Giclée Process

The word Giclée means "fine spray" or "to spray" in French, which is an apt description for how our limited edition Giclée prints are actually created. The modern Giclée process renders museum quality prints by spraying approximately 4 million fine, microscopic droplets of ink onto high quality paper or canvas. Today, Giclée printers use four primary colors, cyan, magenta, yellow and black, and from that, can yield more than 16 million shades of color. Giclée prints can therefore capture every color shade and subtle nuance of an original.

Your canvas Giclée print is hand textured and embellished with oils by the artist. This process enhances the image by adding brushstokes, texture, and character that imbues the print with an originality all its own. .
